Membership:

A federal credit union serves persons within its field of membership, as granted by the National Credit Union Administration. Link Federal Credit Union is not-for-profit and member owned. This allows us to offer better rates, low or no cost services and a stronger, more personal relationship between members and staff. We serve people who work for or belong to a Select Employee Group (SEG) and lives, works or worships in our approved area, which includes local organizations and associations. For information on becoming a SEG click on How To Join or for an up-to-date listing of our current SEGs, click here.

You can open an account with us if you work or belong to one of our SEGs or live, work or worship in our area. This also entitles your immediate family members to join the credit union, regardless of their occupation or location. Immediate family is defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent or grandchild. It also includes stepparents, stepchildren, step siblings and adoptive relationships.

Joining the credit union is easy and simply requires opening a savings account with a minimum balance of $5.00. Once you become a member, you are always a member, as long as you remain in good standing and maintain an active $5.00 share savings account.
